Favorite Washington story is that when Coach had his in house, Washington was telling him he ran a 4.3 and would go outside and prove it right then and there.

Good luck Keith, you'll be missed.

Good luck to him in his future endeavors. But the older I get the more frustrated I get with people transferring (especially in the middle of camp). Whatever happened to sticking it out and competing every day to get better. Now, Michigan has ZERO options to replace him for the season. And what does he get out of it? Nothing, now instead of playing in every game this season, he gets to watch college football from the couch.

He gets to sit this season out (as he potentially would have anyway), and transfer to play elsewhere next year. If he stays on the team this year, but doesn't get any reps, he's basically missing two entire seasons. Can't knock the kid for trying to find his way onto the football field, be it here or elsewhere.

Please someone who is the kid from camden. It is driving me nuts. I wonder where he fits in. Is he still at safety. I thought Washington looked good, but we have major talent at CB and safety. Who knows why he wants to leave. Maybe they can get in his ear.

Well, with the inexperienced secondary I expect Don Brown will be dialing the pressure up to 11 this season. Massive pressure on the QB in the hopes that he can't get the ball downfield accurately.

This may be a volatile big play season -- a mix of devastating sacks by the Michigan D combined with big plays allowed by the secondary.

So much so that I have specifically created an account to post this on Mgoblog. So, who's going to be the CBs come Sept. 2nd?

Honestly, I don't care if we have a secondary or not. I just want to see Michigan winning the game.

(Pic is me btw)

The CB position, especially in a Don Brown defense, is one where 2nd year players and true freshman can still be effective even with minimal experience, as long as they have the combo of size, speed and athleticism for press coverage.

There are three top 150 players in the mix here, add that to a better than most Dline and this seems to be the best case scenario position group to have to play unproven players.

Better than having to play a 2nd year unproven QB, that's for sure.

He'll probably be very good if he finds a team with a zone scheme, IMO it was just a tall task to develope into a great press coverage corner when he was a QB in high school primarily.
