Kareem Walker Still on the Team

Submitted by DrMantisToboggan on

According to Chengelis, Baumgardner, and others on Twitter, Michigan people have denied the reports of Kareem Walker's dismissal, and he is still fully with the program.

I do not mean to call anyone out with this post, but there are at least some positive conflicting reports to the earlier information that was shared here. I hope it plays out with Kareem remaining a contributing part of our team.

Chat Sports doesn't do independent journalism. They run with message board rumors as if they are fact, pretend to have their own sources, and try to get as many clicks as possible. The Greg Frey thing is a classic example. For a time Frey was considering leaving and this made all the message boards, including ours. Chatsports pretended it was a fait accompli long before Frey had made his decision or Harbaugh had been asked his thoughts, which mattered to all parties. Why? To be first and get all the clicks. Now they pretend like they had a scoop, whwn all they did was lie about something from a message board. Go ahead and say whatever mean things you want to about chatsports and those who spread their crap. They're a pestilence.

Hopefully. But I won't be suprised if the narrative changes again. His time here has not gone the smoothest up to this point.

I really hope he can get squared away with whatever is hurting his chances at fulfilling his complete potential. Really thought he ran hard and with attitude in the limited snaps he got. Was really hoping he could blossom and turn into a really good back.

This story popped up on my google+ feed for some reason. Saw it was by chatsports, and regretted wasting my 2 minutes reading it. Didn't know Mitchell was suspended from Rutgers until I read it though. What could have been with that guy!

I guess I didn't realize they couldn't spark once in a while.  Not talking about walking around baked all the time, but over a 3 day weekend or something, dang.

Yeah, not sure but think Mag edited and I was replying.  Maybe not though.

I guess I figured coaches said just keep it under control, but being strict for Athletes on Scholly makes sense.

Yes, legal. I smoked a hundred years ago when you had to sneak around to do it.  Now I own my own home, its legal to smoke, my buddy grows it so its free and now I don't want to.  I might again some day.

Who is training year round could possibly get away with smoking it once per week and it would never show up in a test. Thc is stored in fat cells. Obviously a man of walkers stature doesn’t have much body fat. Also not sure how Michigan is because I live in Pennsylvania, but if we have decriminalized it here I’m pretty sure almost all states have. Which doesn’t make it illegal! Just saying
