Just Because POSBANG
My sister teaches seventh grade English, and I have no idea how she does it. Big time props, hope your day is as awesome as some of these gifs.
My mother taught English as a second language (ESL) for decades in the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
It's a hard slog. She either stayed up late doing lesson plans and grading stuff or was up at o' dark 30 doing the stuff.
Best of luck to you and make us proud!!!
Congrats my man. I did it in French so it's fancy.
.
That is just a little bit scary!
what a bunch of pussies!
To be fair that would make me poop myself.
Please tell me diagramming sentences is a thing of the past. I hated those damn things.

Bang Bang to you!
Welcome home!
Congrats!!!! Excellent use of the posbang. But seriuosy, you have one of the most important jobs in our society.
Congratulations on your new job, first and foremost.
My mother spent 37 years in Romulus Schools here in Michigan (part of it as an assistant principal and director of technology, but mostly as a teacher) and although you could see the frustrations sometimes, she loved what she did and I don't think she'd ever trade those times for anything. I never knew how she did it and I don't know that I would have the patience, but many, many kudos to those in the profession.
Awesome. Always good to hear of people joining the ranks! Teaching is insanely rewarding and insanely exhausting.
Congrats on the becoming a teacher.
It's been a rough day. I could use some frivolous banging.

hater that went thru the last couple Friday posbangs and negged nearly everyone.
But I just upvoted both of your posts to make up for it AND because I can identify with your post---my Polish Grandpa came over on a boat 120 years ago at age 13 with his 17-year-old brother (my great-uncle) and they both adapted on their own to a completely foreign culture and language. My great-uncle's last child passed away at age 91 just a couple weeks ago; between talking to her and to my dad and uncles, I have a ton of admiration for them and any others who passed thru Ellis Island generations ago.
Congrats! You're going to do great. Enjoy summer while you can :)
