Your title needs work...not enough detail...How is he underrated? Why isn't he a five star? How tall is he? These things matter! /s

Most recruits get called underrated at one time or another but there's reasons to believe it's legit in Teske's case.  The combination of having a well-rounded skillset for a 7 footer, plus the OSU offer are encouraging.  Other than blocks, the stats are mostly underwhelming, but not a major concern. A Beilein big doesn't need to put up huge numbers.

If Teske can affect shots on defense while adequately executing the screen and roll game of a Beilein 5, the program will have a major asset in Teske.

I like the fact that his jump shot will force opposing big men to have to step away from the basket to guard him. Though it would be more beneficial if he becomes a good low post player who can score a decent amount of easy baskets in the paint. Our offense suffers too many droughts because we’re usually depending on outside jump shots to carry us for the whole game.
