John U. Bacon Event in DC
John U. Bacon will be in DC Thursday to sign and talk about "Endzone." So if you want to get your copy signed and ask John about what didn't make it into the final edition, stop by 2550 M Street NW at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 29.
If you haven't had a chance to buy the book, UMDC is selling copies for $20. To guarantee you get a copy, you can pre-purchase the book when registering and pick it up on the day of the event. If you already have the book, a signed copy of "Endzone" would be a great gift for the other Michigan fans in your life!
Make sure you register before it sells out! For more details and to register: http://alumni.umich.edu/connect/event/book-signing-john-u-bacon-endzone-rise-fall-and-return-michigan-football

Hmmmm . . . even if he didn't trip, the water was not going to be deep enough for him to dive into. He was dead meat no matter what.
"Here, hold my beer. Watch this!"
Natural Selection at work right there.

Regarding John U. Bacon, does anyone have the link to the Q&A with him?
I just finished the book and was wanting to read it but can seem to find it via the search function. I found the questions here (http://mgoblog.com/content/lets-have-endzone-user-qa) , but can't find the response with Bacon's answers.

Good question. I don't know if they ever published the follow-up.

I picked up a copy the other day.

He was electric complete with a pretty good Bo immitation.
Very simply Brandon treated UM sports like a business, when we all know it is a religion.
The Shane Morris "concussion" series of snafus story is one every Michigan football fan should hear.
Go see him speak if you have a chance!
