Beilein needs to retire as a wolverine. Anyone that watched his pc or interviews during the tourney knows how much he loves the University of Michigan. He's a great ambassador for the University of Michigan Hopefully they will also bump the salaries for the assistants too... Folks just need to start filling Crisler the way we fill Michigan stadium

How long until Beilein retires? He is 65 now. He has earned the right to be here as long as he wants and I hope thats many years from now. But realistically I doubt he'd coach past 70...right?

Red coached until he was 77.  While some say he stayed on a little too long, it shows that a coach who is still young at heart and in good shape can still go into his 70's, so it's POSSIBLE Beilein could last another 10 years.

Personally, I think that's doubtful, but you never know.

he is a "regular guy", who isn't going to be about being the highest paid coach.  He wins with character and is a great asset of this University.  For what it's worth, for the first time in my lifetime (and that alot of years), I am getting season tickets for next year !  Actually splitting them with my son, as the drive from Fort Wayne will make going to all games impossible.

one or two months into each of the last three seasons, there were more than just Maizen calling for a new coach....

Good coaches win, great coaches win and their teams get better as the season rolls on.  We have a great coach.

I'm not sold that he can field a good defensive unit.  And his offense is all gimmick - who shoots freaking threes all the time?  Gotta be tough and rugged in the Big 10 - look at Izzo and how tough and hard-nose his teams are.

He has really assembled something special with the last couple years and what we have now and what we have coming in.  Its going to be a great next several seasons.  Here's to continuing to beat the rivals, winning the conference and contending for a title repeatedly!!  Woo Hoo!!

Like John Beilein.  Class personified.  However long he wants to coach, let him.  Coaching wizard, true gentleman, ambassador for college athletics.  In the dictionary under "integrity" it says see also John Beilein.
