JH talk blowing up on message board

Submitted by lager86 on December 29th, 2010 at 11:15 AM

The Rivals message board is blowing up with Harbaugh to UM hype.  Seems like Balas and Helmholdt are convinced he's coming.  I'm having Les Miles flashbacks from 3 years ago.

                       2012 headline

Denard Robinson made his first visit to Times Square this weekend. It didn't take long before his name was up in lights on Broadway.
Florida University's star quarterback won the Heisman Trophy in a landslide vote Saturday night.

JH to Michigan rumors?

I hadn't heard that possibility yet.  Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I swear to god I'm going to pistol-whip the next person to post a content-free CC thread...

Littering and... Littering and... Littering and...

Sorry to throw you into such a tizzy.  Just noting that the Mods on that site seem to be claiming it as a done deal, which I don't recall seeing before.

Like Charlie Brown trying to kick a football, I keep clicking on these threads.  I know that there will be no decision announced before January 2nd, and yet I drink the sand of the CC-season-is-over mirage.

And I'm getting really fricking tired of the CC Desert.

Based on what? Sources? The only way JH is coming is if there is a deal already in place. Otherwise he will field offers from NFL teams and UM doesn't have time to wait for that. Fuck you David Brandon.

What's more important - to support our coach, or do what's best for the program?  The people who lobby forJH aren't doing it to spite RR, they're doing it because they believe it's in the best interest of Michigan football.   Whether that's the case or not, it's not exactly bad intentions.

I don't think for a minute wanting JH for a coach makes you some sort of trader. My problem with it is that after only 3 years our data on RR is still incomplete. I would like to see him afforded the same oppurtunity that I would if JH were hired and that is have enough time to see his recruiting classes become upper classmen.

Also I love Denard as the QB and leader of this team. RR has brought in some pretty good young guys to root for and I would hate to see any of them transfer. Hold the rope for one more year.
