So who had the best pro-style passing game in college football last year? Because I assume that's what Harbaugh is googling right now.

Silver lining, Harbaugh likes adding and subtracting new wrinkles to his offense year to year, so maybe a fresh voice in the offensive room can bring his own wrinkles, help out an offense that seemed to struggle at times in the last 4 games.

I doubt it will be Greg Roman. He has no experience working with Wide Receivers. He's more of an O-Line guy, although does have some experience with tight ends and quarterbacks.

No we literally just lost all of our WR assistants in the past year.

TJ Weist left and went to USF to be OC with Taggert.

Jimmie Doughtery left to go be a WR coach at Oregon (with Taggert).

Soup left to go be the WR coach at UConn.

Now Fisch is gone to UCLA.

My hope is we bring one of the first 3 back.

Also another name that could be a decent fit, former Georgia State HC Trent Miles.

He was fired this year as HC after going 2-8, but he has extensive experience as a WR coach, coaching WRs at place like Hawai'i, Notre Dame, and Stanford before. He also was with Green Bay for a time being as a QC/WR guy.

He turned around Chesson and Darboh's paths from mediocrity to NFL draftees. Jedd is one of those guys who never played college football but totally understands it at the highest level. Great having him in AA.
