From what I can tell, this is a Cass Tech math teacher:

I hope that no one was seriously injured I also hope that everyone affiliated with the young man in the video also recognizes that what they say now may well be reviewed by detectives and attorneys over the next few years, and makes smart decisions. Any Michigan lawyers here that have a sense of how this is usually prosecuted there?

I'm pretty sure we have, or have had, a few guys in the team with incarcerated fathers. Jabrill Peppers comes to mind. I agree with. BiSB. This young man threw away his golden ticket. It's inexcusable, but there's likely some social aspect to this. Who knows what the kid is going through. Inexcusable, and he'll pay handsomely for it. But I'll reserve judgment on Jayru and his family. This is just sad to me. I hope he matures and starts making better decisions.

This kid is not Michigan material.  It seems that there´s been multiple incidents, amazed that they hadn´t suspended him before.

This Instagram video allegedly shows Michigan State recruit Jayru Campbell picking up and slamming a school security guard to the floor. Campbell (recruiting profile HERE) is a four-star 2015 QB out of Detroit’s Cass Technical High School, but reports are already circulating that MSU has pulled his scholarship as a result of the incident.

I'm just kind of wondering in what context this happened? It seems like the other guard was just standing around doing nothing? Is there something against the rules that would have prevented him from restraining Jayru/touching a student?

Just watched the youtube video. Good call by Hoke and crew to stay away from this kid.  There is no way Michigan State honors his scholarship.

26mLet's settle this. What jayru did was a disgrace. If msu honors his offer I'd be stunned. Nothing to defend. He should be a spartan. Period
