Since he said that he had to "talk things over with his family" after the offer, his brother is an incoming walk-on, and Dad is going with him on his visit- he's going to flip. If not today (I exect it), then very soon.

I met him last year along with John and he's a hell of nice kid.  The Wangler family (and they bring a LOT of family FWIW) tailgates right behind us in the Blue lot.  John's niece sort of adopted my wife and used to come over and hang out at our tailgate.  One day she brought her brother and her cousin Jared over and introduced him to our group.

Great kid from a great family.  I would be surprised if he didnt flip.

Virtually all of the institution picks ("Crystal Ball") for Jared Wangler at 347Sports are flipped to Michigan at this point, with only 3 holdouts. (LINK). They list Mattison as his primary recruiter too.

MaxPreps has at least some of his stats from this past season HERE. It lists 45 tackles (15 solo), as well as 5.5 TFL, 1 sack for 16 yards, an interception and a fumble recovery. Very productive indeed, and looking at Penn State's roster, it seems they'll be losing even more valuable experience at LB after this year, so I can imagine Wangler flipping would sting some.

I'm not trying to troll but this thought just came to my mind- is it not a little hypocritical for a coach to say that players who have committed to play for him cannot visit any other schools but other school's commitments are welcomed with open arms?
