James Ross' highlight video is impressive
I was watching the Ross Highlight video on Magnus' blog and I saw a couple of things I really, really liked. Ross is a big hitter, but he also wraps up on contact in most of the plays I saw. He did this throughout the video, but especially against East Grand Rapids ball carriers. If you aren't familiar with East Grand Rapids, they're probably the best coached program in the state. They don't produce many D-1 kids, at least not high-major D-1, but they've won the state title in their class for most of the last decade. Ross made it look easy against them and that is a very good sign for a position that has been sorely lacking in talent since David Harris signed with the Jets.
Watch the video at Touch the Banner. Ross is big time.
I was more impressed with "shiny" girl from the post on May 1st myself.
The presence of pics of beautiful women does not detract from the quality of a blog in any way, shape, or form.
but I also saw a lot of him tackling guys high. That may work in high school but when Stephen Hopkins is running full bore it you, you better go low. Love the speed he plays with though. You can tell the linebacker concepts are engrained into him. Will be fun to watch.
The thing that jumped out at me was his nose for the ball. The guy can quickly diagnose a play, and he gets to the ball carrier in a hurry regardless of who is in his way. Great, great get for the Maize and Blue.
The sky is blue
water is wet
Fred Jackson appreciates hyperbole
Thoughts? And what about the other 3 linebackers in his class?
I was more impressed with shiny girl, he does have a knack for finding the ball quickly, he does tackle a little too high... I also saw him stop his feet on contact a couple times and his legs go limp and get dragged a little bit. Again, Hopkins would take him for a ride if that continues
one of our current WRs is from East Grand Rapids

Because I just watched highlight video of performance of James Ross in the previous season, I am able to see some such scenes that I completely ignored before. James Ross is an outclass player and it feels to see him in action. Glad to visit studyclerk source where I pay to write research paper in similar manner.
