Jabrill Injury Rumor?

Submitted by MGoSwilly on

TIFWIW- Friend of mine who is an alum just sent me a text saying that his relative treated Jabrill Peppers at an Ann Arbor hospital after he punched glass and tore a ligament in his arm/wrist. Apparently out for the bowl game. Still nothing being reported, but just thought I'd pass it along. Apparently he has been seen in a cast around campus.

This is a rumor on Penn State's 247 site. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Hopefully, you can track down the source of this protected, private medical information. At least, the person should be terminated from his position and maybe even fined/prosecuted.

Please God don't let the rumors be true. I had a field day at work with Sparty making fun of Dawson and his thug life. I cannot stand my work dynamic right now. I know I need patience and Harbaugh will restore order, but this shit is getting beyond painful to endure.

"Work dynamic" when you're still 20 years old.

Seriously, who the hell gets worked up about their coworkers talking shit about college sports? It's your workplace. That's not why you're there.

One of my colleagues went to OSU. We rib each other now and then, but it's all good. His wife also went to OSU. When she found out I went to Michigan at a gathering for all of my buddy's work friends, she turned her back on me and wouldn't say a word for the rest of the night. If I let that in any way get to me...

You guys are half right and half wrong. You can be fired for HiPPA violations. You can not be procsecuted. An individual violating HIPPA is not subject to criminal or civil penalties because HIPPA is not in the criminal or civil code. The institution violating HIPPA is subject to HIPPA penalties. So if Leaking patient info is true, then the UM hospital is the entitiy that is liable for the penalties, not the individual. As a result, the hospital can levy internal penalties on the individual, such as counseling up to termination.

The rapper Juicy J had a concert at the Michigan Theater on the night of Tuesday December 8th. Before Juicy came on, Jabrill was on stage dancing with the U-M student rappers who were opening the show. I was sitting in the first row and he definitely did not have a cast on as he was throwing free t-shirts to the crowd with both hands.
