Wow, I thought last week was bad having to wait until 3:30.... Now we have to wait until 7pm. What's in your glass/cup this morning and how well you pass the time until kick-off?

Started a 27 lb chuck roll in the smoker until 3am and it's finishing in the oven. ETC is 3 pm followed by a 3 hour rest period. Target dinner time is 6. (Made it for a friend's family gathering.) If you haven't tried it, you might want to. It's the beef version of pulled pork.

Starting a 17 pound prime (TGF Costco) brisket shortly. That will feed the faithful at my house!

I went with my then gf (now wife) to Prince many years ago in LA and loved it. He put on a pretty epic set.

I wasn't entirely being forthright with my Beyoncé comment earlier though. I saw her with Jay Z a year or so ago, and I was very underwhelmed. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it was pretty disappointing.

The only other time I remember being that bummed out was driving to VT with a couple guys to see "Phish's Last Show Evah" (which - yeah - I've seen them five times since). Trey was too effed up to put on a good show and it was just kind of a drag. The extracurriculars, however, were pretty amazing...

Debating whether or not to stay awake for this game. It will be coming on my time around 2:30 AM. I know this is going to be a slaughter, but I still don't want to miss anything.

Sleep.  Even if you're young enough to pull the all-nighter, save those whippersnapper heriocs for the next party that involves women-folk and drinking.  You can always watch the game via internet Sunday.  MGoBlog usually has about 10 different links to it on the various recap threads!

I'm in Jacksonville, so I'll spend the day cleaning up outside then watch the game! Btw the storm wasn't nearly as bad as the news made it out to be, we never lost power or anything.

Wandering around Geneva at the moment. I'm already a few in and found a pub near the lake that will show the game if I can bring my computer and hdmi cable...

I just woke up to my son holding a brightly lit iPad in my face saying, "Can I have this to watch Netflix?", because he knows that in my semi-conscious haze I am likely to say "Yes" because I would do anything to get the light out of my face. Smart kid indeed.

The only thing that gets in the way of football today is a flu shot clinic for the kids, which will cause me to miss about an hour or so of the noon slate, which is no big loss since Michigan doesn't play until 7 PM.

Let's give Rutgers a reason to be upset, folks.
