It's Meltdown Time! NSFW
The other day some were waxing nostalgic for Brian's old Schadenfreude columns. Well the website Roll Bama Roll has taken up the baton and the crocodile (or, ahem, gator) tears are glorious, especially when they are not our own. In fact, this week there is so much hate that they are doing two Meltdowns, the first concentrating just on the state of Texas. And be forwarned the OP does not endorse the messages, nor the language with which they are expressed, herein.

Is like in the College Football World, don't want to go through it again. Looking forward to week 2

How does Buckshot Calvert not get nominated for name of the year? It's amazing. His pic is awesome too. New J Lehman?

And looking at his hand sign in the photo, I believe he's a Vanilla Ice fan. What's not to love about Buckshot?

laugh at:
"Who would play for this team if you couldn't rape?"
But I couldn't help chuckling a bit. See you in hell, I guess.

"We were probably looking ahead to San Jose State."

If only there were aspects to culture other than winning football games that we could base our self worth on. (cough Ohio cough)

I do take pleasure in the misery of Baylor "Penn State Lite" University fans, yes.

Paging our contract lawyers: Does blowing a five touchdown lead qualify as a "for cause" event? Asking for a friend.
OK, I laughed. If I had to suffer under Sumlin like they do though, I think I might have even thought the same thing.

".....now you're getting your shit pushed in by MARYLAND at the home opener"
"Can MARYLAND even score 51 points in a basketball game???"
Go on with your bad self, DJ!

...I realized how messed up it is that all those meltdowns were from Texas schools and fans probably stopped cleaning out their homes to watch that crap. Hopefully the Astros and Verlander will bring the sports joy they deserve while so many people put their lives back together.

Herman is overrated IMO. Might be a world class OC(when he's got talent like OSU had) but he just doesn't move the needle as a leader for me.

It works, but it works primarily because of him.

It will be interesting to see if Herman turns it around this season. If he doesn't then either offensive genius doesn't necessarily translate into hiring good defensive staff, or there's something fundamentally wrong with Texas as a program.
