Less interesting? Our record against OSU has been embarrassing the last 10 years. We want win #10. We want our players and coaches to beat Ohio State. We want our students to experience a big football win. (My son is a senior. Think about how few big games we've won over the last 4 years). We want Ohio State fans to live with losing to Michigan for the next 12 months. We want recruits to witness a win over our arch rival. Nothing to play for? My ass.

for ohio in the shoe, 'there's no way i'm coming back'. there is a cancer in that club house and they just might be the explanation for all their 'meh' performances against an entirely unranked schedule. thats why a good, not great, state team beat them in columbus with a back-up QB.

Lot of observations tonight to the effect that wins have papered over a multitude of problems in that locker room. After Elliott's comments tonight it's clear they've gone full-on Donner Party and are eating their own. Good. I'm as disappointed as anyone that this probably means no 1969 2.0. But I can't help but take some schadenfreude from the situation in Columbus. In the pantheon of the loathsome, no one comes close to OSU for me. And given the trajectories of the two programs, I like our prospects. Counting the minutes until we take them to the woodshed. Think victory.

I want to be this confident but let's not pretend like Michigan hasn't struggled against much inferior teams than Ohio State. Our D line better bring their A game and let's not forget that State win today by running the ball, something we haven't done since Maryland.
