IT'S GAMEDAY!!!

A bit early today, even for me. Can't sleep, can't wait... But wait I must. How are you going to pass the time and what's in your cup/glass while you wait for kickoff?

Beat me by a second. Glad I checked before hitting send. At my inlaws' and can't sleep. What are you folks sipping on this morning? Java? Too early for a brew? I'm just glad UM football is back. Despite the team's success through the midway point of the season, I'm hoping to see some improvement (however marginal) coming off the bye week.

Have my son's baseball game this morning then my daughters piano recital at 2:30.  She said "Daddy can we stay for the whole recital after I'm done playing"?  I said, we'll see honey - Michigan plays at 3:30.  She was pretty serious about staying for the whole thing so hopefully it will be done in an hour.

My wife stole the covers from me so I've been awake since 530. Thanks, devil woman. Sold our tickets to a buddy so we can to wine tasting up north because of course wife was busy on wife day and couldn't go last weekend. Ridiculous. Fortunately we are going to watch the first half at a restaurant and then get back to the wineries.

I told my wife I wouldn't drink tonight. Besides, I got a big day tomorrow. You guys have a great time.

(A big day? Doing what?)

Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

I am going to breakfast with the wife, then no plans after that. Probably outside enjoying a beautiful fall day catching fish. I don't much feel like watching Illinois being massacred. I can do that at my leisure next week.

Ford Field in the morning to watch my daughter cheer and then on to the Big House. Lots of football watching for me today, but sadly no tailgating.

Go Blue!!

getting my kids haircuts this morning, packing for a 2 months training in Arkansas and then game time! Speaking of friggin Arkansas, where am I going to be able to watch Michigan games? I looked at the "map" from the mgoblog, but is it up to date?

here in AA before the crowds start pouring down Main St. toward the Big House.  It's a beautiful, post-card like fall day in Ann Arbor.   Lots of fall color.  Kind of a damper on the day though is my wife's dad had a health episode last night and had to be taken to the ER.  But, it looks to be nothing too serious for now, so that's good.   But at 87 years old, you can't be too careful.  Go Blue!

Gameday! I hate bye weeks. How does one week off feel like a month?

I'm gonna pass the time by hitting the neighborhood garage sales, looking for yard work tools. Yeah, I'm exciting.

I will have some whiskey and ginger ale throughout the day.

Looking forward to today's game, but oooooooh buddy next week. I hope Harbaugh and the team hang 50+ on those penis faces.

As much of a snoozer as I expect M's game to be, there are quite a few intriguing matchups today. NC state could give Louisville a hard time, I'm hoping tamu can give Bama a scare, Wisconsin at Iowa could be interesting, Colorado vs Stanford, and the cherry on top would be sparty finding a way to make it a 6 loss streak against Maryland in prime time...
