Interesting tweet from Coach Wheatley

Submitted by PolskaPride on

Not every tweet from a coach is noteworthy but considering Coach Wheatley does not tweet often, this could definitely be something worth noting. He is the primary recruiter for Isaiah Wilson, who attends Poly Prep in Brooklyn.

Is Brooklyn in the house? - Without a doubt, Biggie Smalls the fella with clout everybody yapping about...The Notorious B.I.G!

But not everything Pac made was good.

You can go back and forth...but number of songs shouldn't be the determining factor. It should be the number of amazing songs. If you still think Pac has more, then great. But just the fact he put out more music doesn't make him better, IMO.

Both B.I.G. and Pac were murdered on orders from Suge Knight: Pac, because he'd threatened to leave Death Row and take all his unreleased tracks; Biggie, to make it seem like Pac's murder had been an East Coast/West Coast Crips/Bloods beef. When it wasn't at all.

Everyone basically gave up on trying to decode what Coach Wheatley was alluding to.

It seems most threads on slow nights follow this basic script:

1. OP post borderline meaningful topic.

2. Responses 1-10 change it to something wayyy OT.

3. 11-? are the same 2-3 people fighting about responses 1-10.

Some of it's compelling, some not. It's what keeps us coming back.

Absolutely agree!! If you go and listen to most of BIGs songs, they actually told stories. It's actually quite amazing. Listen to "warning", "n.... Bleeds", "story to tell", "somebody got to die". Lyrically, tupac had nothing on him other than pure anger. Tupac older stuff was a lot better. Went downhill when he signed with death row. "If Faith have twins she'll probably have tupacs, 2-pacs.." Brooklyn's Finest (Jay-z and Notorious BIG). This song is amazing.

2Pac had more range. Biggie rapped about money hoes and clothes but, Pac would mad one track, senistive another and a straight poet after that. Biggie was ok but, you could feel Pac, everything he felt when he put down a track came acrossed through his music. There is really no comparrison between the two on an artistic level. It's like comparing the Beatles to Def leopard

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this but this tweet would seem to imply the all star game wasn't the announcement. But keep in mind this is crootin and twitter, two relatively unreliable and unpredictable things. We must wait for counterstrike to confirm.

Apparently you can't embed a quoted tweet, so here is the tweet that's quoted

He also retweeted a Michigan account of some type about his upcoming announcement, and said that it wasn't related to an all-star game. Also, I learned that he really likes female basketball players, which is a piece of information that I really could have lived my life without knowing about a random high schooler.

She is no where near "7 foot", she is more in the realistic 6'6 range. I met her at Delaware on a visit there because my cousin was also an athlete and friendly with her at the time. Im 6'5 on a good day and she was taller than me at the time. But she is stunning, blode hair, blue eyes, longs legs, gorgeous smile and thye nicest of people.
