I think that they're taking it easy with some of these early games so that he's 100% for the remainder of the season. It does suck that he can't seem to get back on the field though. As much as I've enjoyed C Brown racking up yards, I was looking forward to seeing Minor Rage this year.

Hoping he gets healthy soon...

I entirely trust that Rodriguez knows what he is doing, so I am not trying to bash him or the decision that was made.

I just don't understand why they would adjust two positions(Huyge and Moosman) to replace Molk when they could stick in one of the redshirt freshman and keep everyone else at their normal spot. Maybe it is a lot easier to change OL spots than I thought, but in my uninformed mind, it makes a lot more sense to stick in a guy who might struggle some, but keep the continuity for everyone else.

Thoughts from someone who knows football better than I?

Probably has to do with experience. OL is one of the positions most affected by experience. So instead of putting in a RS FR with little to no game time, they are putting in a senior with experience though somewhat less athletic ability. And then, one of the current linemen has the most practice at center, so they need to shift him over. Center is like the qb of the OL, so throwing in a young player isn't ideal. My guess is the younger players get experience next year at guard, while Molk is still here before moving over to center the year after.
