They probably would take those three and from what I've read Bama thinks they're getting Battle regardless of what Dax does.

Still can't hurt in the Dax reflip (backflip?) endeavor. Also good for OSU to not have nice things.

We do this every damn time we lose a big time recruit.  Every. Damn. Time.

And despite the fact that literally only one or two out of hundreds of decomitts have ever come back we'll spend between now and signing day trying to convince ourselves he'll return to the fold.

He's not.  He's gone-move on people.  Be thankful he didnt go to a school we have on our schedule and focus on what we do have.

Yeah, but....

The circumstances here do feel different (even though I agree that he probably will stick with Bama).

I can't remember a flip that blindsided literally everyone involved, including the school he flipped too. It sounds like a decision that probably wasn't thought through and based in part on emotional false information (i.e. Harbaugh leaving for the NFL).

Thats true im neither.  But i do understand probibility and the odds of things happening in the future based on past events. Like i said-one or two have come back and you just listed the most prominent one.

I would list all the ones that havent flipped back but im on my phone and its a bitch to type out all 983 names.

I doubt he flips back as well, but the suddenness of it all and the fact that there has been a consistent undercurrent of "nobody quite knows where he is" makes me think that it could change a couple more times before NSD.  That doesn't mean he's going to UM, but I could see him, say, go to Oklahoma or some other school we've not heard of.

People read way too much in the Solomon situation as a likely outcome here.  But this also feels a bit different than your usual decommitment situation.

They will take all 3. Saban has an in home with Dax this weekend, so they obviously still want him, and who wouldn't want the #1 rated safety America?

It's not happening man give it up. Dax is a different breed. Saban will take all 3 bc he can. I feel like the Hill's left the door open bc they regretted how they didn't even tell the staff of their plans and now it's just for show to end up tellin them yea thanks but we're gonna stick w bama..

I have to say I agree with this.  I think a lot of what you are hearing about is just our staff scrambling in a "say it ain't so" last gasp to salvage it.  I don't want to be negative about it but it is quite likely that they are going to be winning another national championship in the 3 weeks so I am not sure if anything Harbaugh can say is going to say can really speak that loudly.

He's going to Alabama.  We just have Cush-lash right now.
