Indiana has fired Tom Crean

Good. Harbaugh connections aside, Crean had to go.

Pretty classy message, I think.
is there a classy way to fire people?
You can fire them at the airport ala USC
You can fire them at the airport ala USC
EDSBS should name some kind of award after Tom, in recognition of him cycling through 26 recruiting classes worth of players in just under 10 seasons. Similar to the Fulmer Cup or the Scott Tenorman Award, but for being a douchebag.

Jeff Meyers fault?
Man, he really got creaned!
March 16th, 2017 at 12:45 PM ^
Bye, Tom!
cheer for Michigan.

Hello Archie Miller or Steve Alford?
March 16th, 2017 at 12:35 PM ^
Alford isn't leaving LA. Archie... I can see.
Whoever out of Dayton, Xavier or Butler goes furthest in the tournament wins the job.
...is Chris Collins.
hopefully he stays
with his kid graduating he might consider a move. It is not like Alford is loved at UCLA. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he moved, including the likelihood that IU would outpay UCLA by a lot. Billy Donovan is the first choice but Alford may be number 2. Either way Alford is in for a big raise

Steve Alford will be the next Indiana coach.

This feels like Archie Miller. If Miller doesn't take the job, he is either staying at Dayton for life or waiting for the Ohio State job to open.
If he wants the OSU job, he won't have to wait much longer.
Archie played for NC State. My guess is that's who the Wolfpack want.

How will Pete Penisface Finebaum spin this to be Harbaughs fault?
It won't be long now until I forget that his actual name is Paul.
Whose name is Paul??
Is Paul??
I am the Walrus Goo goo g'joob Goo goo g'joob
March 16th, 2017 at 11:07 PM ^
Yeah, just like I have to remind myself that mork's real name is mike. Thankfully the media does a good job keeping me straight with that one.
March 16th, 2017 at 12:22 PM ^
Good now harbaugh can root for the good guys.
March 16th, 2017 at 12:22 PM ^
hope indiana doesn't hit a home run on the hire seems like we've done well recruiting there, would hate to lose ground
March 16th, 2017 at 12:53 PM ^
Even though Michigan had a lot of Indiana guys they rarely beat IU for them with the exception of McGary I can't think of one that had an IU offer.
Edit: I'm wrong Zak Irvin
GR3 probably would have gotten an Indiana offer had GR3 not committed so early
Maybe we worry if they hire a better talent evaluator. Izzo probably has more to lose, looks like he might pick up 2 Indiana five stars that barely gave Michigan a look.
March 16th, 2017 at 12:22 PM ^
dammit I enjoyed him sucking at IU. would have enjoyed another few years of that
March 16th, 2017 at 12:54 PM ^
Where do I have to watch him coach now? I'm going to miss seeing his stupid antics all the time.
....and his nicely tailored suit pants.

Pete's opening tease on today's show: "CREAN OUT AT EYE-YOUUUU. I'll ASK: DID HIS ASSOCIATION WITH MICHIGAN FIREBRAND JIM HARBAUGH HURT?"
"Did marrying Jim Harbaugh's sister ruin Tom Crean?! What does Nick Saban's brother in law have to say and is Arkansas primed for a title run?!?!"
football team"
March 16th, 2017 at 12:25 PM ^
Bang me?
March 16th, 2017 at 12:27 PM ^
So I guess now we really know who ruined their program
I think that question got answered once and for all today. He got fired.
