Impressive series of video Interviews
I have been extremely impressed with all of the players that I have seen video interviews of lately. They all seem like extremely intelligent kids that are really excited to be representing Michigan. Not only that, but there seems to be a determination to get it right this fall. Coach Rodriguez throws around "conscientious" a lot, but I don't know if there is a better word to describe most of these kids.
So here's my question - it seems they are having a ton of fun compared to previous years (even under Rodriguez): So, are we getting more access to these guys? Are they more empowered to show emotions (good or bad) than under Lloyd/previous RR years? Or maybe are they less worried to say something they will get in trouble for?
I'm sure most of us have seen the great diary from Boyz n da Pahokee:

Here's a link to the Rivals site with a string of interviews that are great:

I think Hopkins may end up being my new favorite Wolverine. Though he might need to start growing some lengthy dreads to pry that title from Odoms.

Clever men are impressed in their differences from their fellows. Wise men are conscious of their resemblance to them.

I was thinking about writing the same post. I have been real impressed with the interviews that I have seen. With all the negative "thug" comments being thrown around by some, I think that Michigan has recruited high quality student athletes in the last 2-3 years. I am even impressed with Dorsey, with all the bad press that has been generated about him. He seems to be a responsible young man who recognizes that he has made mistakes and is trying to do better. I think that is all we can ask. With the quality athletes that will be around him, I think he will do well at Michigan.
