Ideas needed for a Michigan tattoo

Submitted by zohizzle101 on March 18th, 2011 at 10:35 AM

So after debating about this for a while, I've finally decided I'm taking my fanhood to the next level and getting a Michigan tattoo on my back. And no I'm not an athlete and I'm not going to be exchanging memorabilia in return for getting tatted in case you were curious. Just wondering if anyone has gotten tatted with Michigan stuff before and what you guys got..I need ideas!! and GO BLUE beat the Vols!!!

Make sure you print out a template. Go to where they have the official ones. I believe the actual dimensions of our Block M are trademarked.

Personally, I'd get the University of Michigan seal, which I think is awesome. It would be more ornate, and more nuanced, and it is just a great looking design.

Not being a dick (debatable), you might want to edit your post. I don't know of this color "yellow", I do know of an aMAIZEing color though.

As far as a Tat goes, can't go wrong with a "Block M" or how about Marvels Wolverine sporting "Wings" sorta like #56.

Get the butterfly with Morris's face right above your waist. People will know you're up for some fun and you can show your allegiance at the same time!

Freudian slip.  I was trying to explain to a friend that I will be embarrassing him with an extraordinarily bright maize shirt at the game today and he responded:  "What is maize?"  So I dumbed it down for him and that carried over into this post.  My bad.

My advice would be to keep it as simple as possible.  Simple is timeless; you may regret something elaborate later on.  If I were going to to it, I'd get a solid blue block M on my shoulder blade.  But i guess it also depends if you already have/plan to get other tats.

What ever you do don't get it in the same location as the lady below!  Or the small of your back.  I heard TP has the O in the small of his back.  Sincerely!
