I was thinking of brunette girls...

God bless you Brendan Gibbons.  You've come a long way.  Enjoy the moment.  And the brunette girls.

That is all.

Kudos to Brian Bennett (of ESPN) for pretty much calling Gibbon's role in this game:

The hero of this game? Wolverines kicker Brendan Gibbons, who makes three big field goals.

Oh, and did you hear the one announcer set up the other? "What do you think the kickers are thinking about?" But the other announcer hadn't done his homework and failed to spot the easy spike.

That told the lord to allow Gibbons to think about my brunette wife and daughter however he so pleased as long as he made that kick. Worth every bit of the silent indignity of wanting another man to have inappropriate thoughts about my loved ones.

Rich Rod on Gibbons: "We're holding open tryouts for kickers because the one we have isn't any good."

Hoke on Gibbons: "I have a lot of faith that Brenden can be our kicker. So much of it is mental so I had him go practice kicking field goals inside the Big House to get him more comfortable."

Enjoyed sharing the moment at the Big House with my brunette wife. I, too, was hoping Gibbons was thinking about brunettes before the game-winning killed goal.
