I want Clemson to beat OSU

I want Clemson to kick OSU's ass. I love DeShaun Watson, and I think Clemson is a fine, if erratic team. Meanwhile, I have no sympathy or respect for OSU left. Don't give a crap about the B1G winning, though I would in almost any other case. Alabama is one of the best professional college teams ever assembled, and is going to win it all in any case. So let's all root for OSU to be annihilated by Clemson. Who agrees with me?

I haven't gone back and checked the scores of their games this year -- perhaps they actually did crush a few teams.  But they struggled against a lot of teams.  And lost at home to a slightly better than middle of the pack team.

No one has stated in this thread that Clemson will crush OSU AND the Michigan doesn't belong in the playoff, but if you believe the former, it's hard to argue that Michigan is a top 4 team.

You may or not go back long enough, but for the those who don't, I'll note that there was a time when the Big Ten conference mattered--you played all other 9 teams, and while you didn't like a lot of them, you respected a few of them. You felt connected. This love of conference was destroyed by expansion. Nebraska has been the only team I've thought fits in the conference expansion footprint. Everything else has been square peg-meet-round-hole.

What? I hated OSU when Bo was around. I never wanted them to win in anything. And now, you want then to win for "conference unity?" More free publicity for them to recruit more 5-stars? I'll cheer for Indiana or Purdue or Northwestern (and maybe even Rutgers if they make it to a bowl this century), but never for Sparty or the Buckeyes.

OSU to lose in 2OTs after a horriffic PI call by the officials to gift the game to Clemson. Urban is fined $50mm by the CFP brass for shoving his clipboard up Dabo's open pie hole after seen saying F-Ohio. That would feel good.

I want Clemson to destroy and absolutely obliterate the assholes so bad that Urban quits.  

The asshole secondary is tough (and is allowed to get away with absolute murder), but if Watson can have success running the ball against the asshole defense I think it could get ugly.  I think Clemson defense will contain the asshole offense similar to how we did.

Get the feeling that OSU will somehow weasel its way into winning this game, because the universe seems to always bend over backwards to give them a helping hand whenever they need it. But I hope OSU loses this game in the most soul crushing way possible.

Either on a 4th and 1 in OT that should've gone their way, or a blocked punt returned for a TD at the end of rug,action. I want to see hordes upon hordes upon hordes of crying OSU fans. They're so long overdue for heartbreak.

I definitely want OSU to lose. Definitely, totally, positively. I can't bear the thought of them winning, and don't want to even think of them possibly winning the NC game. Nope. They need to get their butts kicked.

Now, theoretically . . . if OSU was 9 - 3, and was NOT in the playoffs, and was playing ND or an SEC team, and had had a string of 9 - 3 years, or worse, I would want them to win. But that isn't the case. So I want OSU to lose. Please, let them lose.

Regarding OSU, I don't really care.  It'll be a close game that OSU will somehow manage to win.  Whatever, they'll get blown out by Alabama and that to me is more delicious than losing to Clemson in a close one.

 

The game I am most interested in watching besides Michigan-FSU is PSU-USC.  I want nothing more than USC to dominate that game.  I'm sick of all the love heaped on them for jumping Michigan in the rankings.  And that stupid home run thing McSorley did in the B1G championship game has got to go.  It gots to GO!

I hope so too. No BIG title, and a bowl loss. I will never root for OSU. Ever. I grew up and live in Toledo. I'm almost to the point of having absolutely no respect for them. I used to at least respect them. Now it's just pure hatred.

Washington is really the only team in the CFP I want to win. Hate OSU, Bama and Clemson is over rated and Im sick of Dabo Sweeney.

Plus this would be the only outcome that would justify Michigan not getting in ahead of the Huskies .

I wont even watch the championship game if its Bama and OSU.

I moved my family to Greenville, SC just over 4 months ago and work about 20 minutes East of Clemson. I was highly encouraged in one of my interviews to pick a local team to cheer for and Clemson seemed like the natural choice. Gotta have something to add at the old water cooler I guess. Obviously, Michigan would always trump, but my 12 year old son and I agreed to follow them. It lasted about a month. He was tired of the kids at school giving him a hard time for wearing Michigan gear all the time. I was tired of the local sports radio guys tell me how great Clemson was. As the season progressed, talk turned into how undeserving the Big 10 was to have as many teams as we had in the top 25, then top 15, then top 10...and so on. Who did Michigan play? Who have they beat? We beat Louisville...blah, blah, blah. They hung their hat on that game all season. Thanksgiving weekend was a disaster. I've wanted nothing more all season long than to face Clemson in the CFP. It almost happened, it should be happening. Instead, I'm forced to cheer for the local team that I've cringed at the last 4 months. And now Watson is a legit Heisman candidate who is the only candidate to be in the CFP. Perfect.

I want OSU to lose so that smug asshole Delaney cries himself to sleep and I am tired of all the OSU handouts and pampering. Fuck them!

I hope OSU gets blown out and embarrassed.

However, I will be rooting for every other big ten team in the bowl games even sparty.....oh wait :-)

I sort of hope that a guy who kicks my ass on a regular basis kicks everyone else's ass, until I become strong enough to kick his myself. Never got how him getting smacked diminished him smacking me.
