I sincerely apologize for my guarantee

Submitted by Mineral King on

I sincerely apologize for my guarantee yesterday. I WAS WRONG!

It will get better, I promise (I know, to most that means nothing). I hope when I check back in we will all be happy and 10-1 heading into Columbus, with a shot at the playoffs.

Dylan is the permanent backup and JHudson may be starting sooner rather than later btw.

No more words. Take care!

I thought I was MK? How can I be an idiot for believing him. Just go to bed man. I’ll be up all night.

Edit... way to edit your post after I reply. I wish that feature was back.

come on dude.  mk posted a few weeks ago that dcaff was the backup qb and we found out today that he was wrong.  jh said Peters was 2nd string until he got injured.  I'm sure you're a good guy but it's not that hard to prove he was wrong.  just watch the presser.

this is from his presser

Why did you make that decision to go with him over Brandon (Peters)? Was that this week that you knew he’d be second-string?

“Yeah, that was this week. Brandon in practice, on a rollout, had tweaked his knee. And he hadn’t taken any reps since Tuesday, so wasn’t 1000 percent for today. So, elevated Dylan to second-string.”

mk posted this on July 24th

"James Hudson will be a starter, our receiving core is so talented it's seriously unreal, Don't sleep on BM, Grant Perry is behind Oliver, Dylan is qb 2,"

today we found out Dylan wasn't qb 2 on July 24th.  mk was wrong.  he was also wrong about Oliver.

No worries, Shea. You looked pretty good considering it was your first game with the new team, offense, etc. Tough break having to play ND in the opener, on the road, at night, etc., but we know better things are to come for you guys. Keep working hard and encouraging the OL and skill guys to improve every day. Despite some of the negative chatter you may see here on the message boards, we really do have your back. We're just passionate about Michigan and are hungry for a winner. Make us proud and Go Blue!

I know the playcalling still had training wheels when DCaff was in, but man there's a calm/collected-ness about him that makes me feel fine if he is indeed the #2.

I still think that we can win most of the games on our remaining schedule. Some tough ones in Wisconsin, and Michigan state but none of those schools have the defensive line that Notre Dame has and we can get by in my opinion.

Ohio state is going to be near impossible unless our like really improves and there are no mental lapses, ala free unblocked rushers. I’m still super pumped and optimistic about our year.

That could be the best defense this team faces all year and the offense still moved the ball on them. Well the bucs probably have the best one but other than that for talent wise. With their new QB in that environment at night in the opening game, after watching the replay, Michigan moved the ball way better than the irish. Toughest road situation they'll be in.

Heart makes me feel for you. Head makes me think you’re a psycho. I give you credit as you have always said Dcaff was the backup, but as far as the guarantee, don’t write checks that our guys can’t cash. I’m sick of it, just win damnit.
