I'm meeting Trey Burke today!
Enchanting tale brethren?
Riveting tale, chap!
Glorious exposition, comrade!
I met Taylor Lewan at the Blue Lep once. I was pissing, and he came up to the urinal next to me. I looked up and told him he was tall. He patted me on the head. We giggled. BFFs.
The Michigan fan inside me feels all warm and fuzzy by this. But the Germaphobe inside me just jumped off a f#%king bridge.
He was a freshmen then and I was wearing a shirt of another school. He made fun of me for it. Schofield and Denard laughed too. I pretended I didn't already know all three of them and what high school they went to. /csb
I guess I just don't get how this is really "meeting" Trey Burke. You're going to walk up, awkwardly talk to him for 30 seconds, he probably will barely look up at you while he signs your stack of gear, and that'll be it. It's a financial transaction.
way to crush the deam of a 9 year old kid, man. why don't you go ahead and tell him about the tooth fairy while you're at it.
in you
So, Coach, uh, er, Dad... I wasn't made in Ohio, right?
I walked into Yo-Yo Ma as he was walking out of an elevator and he said "oh, excuse me."
I was tackled by Lloyd Brady during an IM football game.
He's an enthsiastic fan, and it does take cojones to walk around Columbus with Michigan gear. I think he has probably suffered enough that the CSB stuff isn't necessary.
Besides, Trey Burke signing a Final Four shirt in the heart of Columbus, when they could have had him if they had worked hard enough and wanted him, is some of the most delicious "come-uppance" that could ever be delivered to Buckeye fans.
I just saw The Great Gatsby so "fascinating tale ol' sport".
Question - would it be bad form to have him sign a mini Michigan football helmet since it wasn't his sport?
edit - nevermind, $40 for an autograph is a no-go. Granted that's not Trey's fault - more than likely it's a contractual obligation by whoever is sponsoring this.
40 dollars for a future HoFer's autograph isn't bad. Buy low.
I'm so excited! I'll post pics when it comes. I just want to thank Guiness for making my Saturday afternoon jobs seem worth it and making me feel like a champion
