If they can be tied with USC in the 4th quarter, you have to like their chances in this game. But at the same time, I have this nagging feeling of Sparty winning by a couple touchdowns and then their players preaching to the media, nobody gave us a shot, disrespect, disrepect, disrespect, 50 pounds of chips on our shoulders, disrespect, we're going to the title game now, disrespect, yadda, yadda, yadda.

is what you call a damn good day of college football!

Western Michigan, Pitt, Oklahoma, and Georgia.  4-0 or 3-1 on those four, along with a Michigan rout, would make me extremely happy.

I hope my wife understands my need to watch games for 12 hours...

Stanford pummeled USC last year and I expect them to pull out the win again this weekend. The Darnold has USC's hype train off the tracks but I think they are overrated. Stanford has also won 7 of the last 9.

I've got...

  • PSU
  • TCU
  • WMU (I really do, it's not because I hate MSU - I think they're the better team)
  • EMU (I really do, it's not because it would be funny - I think they're the better team)
  • Oregon
  • Auburn/Clemson - I'm struggling the most with this one...I'll go Clemson in a great game.
  • Oklahoma (Again, not because I hate OSU...I think their offense hasn't come around like I thought it would despite looking good late. I'll take OU in an "upset")
  • Georgia
  • Stanford
  • BYU (only because they're at home)
  • Washington St.
  • Houston (sorry buddy, last year in the desert before you're coaching a C-USA team in Texas, someone's OC at Florida, or sitting on a CBS College Sports set)
  • SDSU (sorry buddy, last year in the desert before you're coaching a C-USA team in Texas...again)

Crazy enough, I have all the same picks as you and for the same reasons. I thinik Oklahoma is the better team as well as Stanford, Western, etc. The one game I have no idea about is Clemson/Auburn, mostly because I don't know how good the Auburn defense is or how good the Clemson offense is.

I will admit also that the late games I don't really care about and it looks like ESPN has the worst of it this week. The regular networks have some monster games. Good week of college football, the best sport.

Its crazy that a notre dame coming off a 4-8 year gets one win over temple at home and is ranked lol

Might be the most interesting of these matchups. Nebraska got a home scare against Arkansas State last week so it's tough to have much confidence in them, but I have no idea what to expect from Oregon. I'll say Ducks 50, Neb 48

My hometown WMU Broncos for the win against State. Oklahoma in a close one over OSU. Other than that the rest will be fun to watch. And fuck all things Penn State, I hope Pitt destroys them.
