There were some fine young men in attendance.
January 21st, 2011 at 1:20 PM ^
Hopefully Hoke was buttering up the coach's. Michigan needs to do everything it can to get the best in home (Michigan) recruits. Not losing them to the SEC!
January 21st, 2011 at 1:31 PM ^
buttering the coach's what?
January 21st, 2011 at 3:15 PM ^
I meant buttering up the Coaches. You people seriously sit here and knit pick the stupidest things. I realize i made mistake (typo), but seriously if you cant figure out what i meant then you must not be a U of M grad son!
January 21st, 2011 at 3:18 PM ^
"nitpick"
January 21st, 2011 at 4:41 PM ^
I suggest you get some tougher skin if you want to hang out around here Lenny.
January 21st, 2011 at 2:08 PM ^
Miami is in the ACC, not the SEC.
January 21st, 2011 at 3:12 PM ^
Actually I was talking about DeAnthony Arnett who WENT TO THE SEC "GoBlueInTX". THE BEST PLAYER COMING OUT OF MICHIGAN!
January 21st, 2011 at 3:37 PM ^
I'm sorry, you'll have to speak up. I can't hear you.
January 21st, 2011 at 1:18 PM ^
I live in St. Louis and Dantonio will be speaking here next weekend as well.
January 21st, 2011 at 1:19 PM ^
I dare you to wear a green ski mask.
January 21st, 2011 at 1:24 PM ^
I'll pay you, double if it's taped :)
January 21st, 2011 at 1:25 PM ^
Believe me, I've thought about it. I might have the balls to wear my Michigan hat. We'll see.
January 21st, 2011 at 2:20 PM ^
Fuck him.

A shirt proclaming you as an honorary member of the Rather Hall Wrecking Crew
January 21st, 2011 at 1:34 PM ^
Maybe you should wear a C.L. Rucker jersey and ask coach D about his approach to discipline
January 21st, 2011 at 1:45 PM ^
...that would mean he would have to attend it. Then again, he would probably not be staying long so it would be the rare win, win, win situation!
January 21st, 2011 at 1:19 PM ^
real was nice. hoke did that spoke was good.
January 21st, 2011 at 1:37 PM ^
when you run what he is saying through the Yoda Speak Generator:
How were the coaches, were any mgobloggers there are, hmm? Yeesssssss.
January 21st, 2011 at 1:33 PM ^
Hoke beat D'antonio @ Indian wrestling?
January 21st, 2011 at 1:39 PM ^
I bet Miarke D'antonio would be a great footbasketball coach.
January 21st, 2011 at 1:34 PM ^
I heard Hoke pointed both of his hands at Dantonio and told him, "We're coming for you, brother!"
January 21st, 2011 at 1:34 PM ^
I live in Kalamazoo and I missed it! Dammit.
January 21st, 2011 at 2:05 PM ^
He is at the clinic and is a Sparty through and through. He said via text "Hoke was AWESOME." He said coaches are liking what they hear from him and he is probably winning some coaches back that were lost by RR over the years. He got to talk with Hoke for about five minutes and was "nothing but impressed."
These were his comments not mine, so don't ding me for the RR losing coaches bit as I am just relaying the info presented by a current HS coach.
January 21st, 2011 at 2:07 PM ^
Dantonio should tell the coaches that even though they say they recruit Michigan, the reality is that only 5 of their 19 recruits are from the State of Michigan.
I think we can dispense with the bullshit myth that MSU goes after the local kids and Michigan only goes after the out of state kids.
I can't tell you how many times I hear that from my Sparty friends when they tell me why they like MSU.
January 21st, 2011 at 2:30 PM ^
Michigan currently has 50 players on the roster from Michigan
MSU has 63.
That's just slightly more than 10% more players from Michigan on MSU's roster (assuming 120 player rosters). Time for this myth to die a slow and painful death.
January 21st, 2011 at 3:31 PM ^
I think MSU has 5 kids in its almost full class this year. UM has 4 (or 5, depending on J. Fisher) in a MUCH smaller class.
The myth should die. Also, the myth that "recruiting our own backyard" makes a big difference should also die. Neither program is going to win big national games relying primarily on kids in Michigan. (No offense to Michigan HS kids.)

And I'm the rep for that account (the Radisson) and probably could've gotten in to see them...had I known. Stupid me.
January 21st, 2011 at 2:46 PM ^
Thats funny that you think any of the posters on Mgoblog are actual coaches that go to clinics.... maybe a few high school coaches sprinkled in here, but not many.
January 21st, 2011 at 2:50 PM ^
There are a few.
