How to Interpret this McGary Interview?
I haven't seen this MaizeAndBlueNews interview discussed here.
Sorry to be negative on Monday morning, but I'm finding it a bit hard to be optimistic about his back 'condition'. Beilein tends to be much more open about things than Hoke, and he is being quite vague on this topic. In the video I linked, McGary is asked 'When was the last time that you were able to play basketball full-go?', and after a very long pause, while looking off camera to someone on his left, he responds 'I don't feel comfortable answering that.'
Talk me off a ledge?
Perhaps this is all blown out of proportion - hopefully he plays tomorrow and allays all my fears ;)

No reason on earth to haul him out vs Concordia for heavens sake.

Not thread worthy, so I'll post it in here. But will the game tomorrow we televised or streamed online anywhere? I know it's just an exibition game, but I need my basketball fix. Thanks.

there is some BTN streaming option available but from what I am told it ends in frustration and just deciding that you don't care about exhibition that much after all.

Last year there were bootleg links posted for these exhibition games. The quality was great. I hope someone will find one again this year.

What is so grim about that article? Both Beilein and McGary suggest that he's not in much pain at the moment, but they're being cautious. There is no reason to not believe them. Why would they lie? I don't think we need to gain a strategic advantage over our exhibition opponents.

Can't embed, but Brendan Quinn (new MLive Basketball Reporter) says Beilein is saying McGary will be able to get into shape from his back condition faster than last year.
