Hockey Recruits - No Campbell?
The list of signees is up for the hockey team, and there is a glaring omission... no Jack Campbell. He is currently the #1 ranked North American goalie in his draft class and the centerpiece of this group. Does anyone know whether there is a serious issue with his admission or commitment or whether this is something less sinister?

I would think that they wouldnt leave out the stud of the class, but plz dont let this be some sign the jack campbell isnt playing here. I got to see him play when we played the US under 18 team in exhibition and he looked really good. We could really use him.

Jack Campbell isn't coming to Michigan. I know this is creepy or whatever, but I did some Facebook stalking. Someone wrote on his wall on Friday that they wanted him to come to Michigan immediately because HOGAN. This was his reply:
Jack Campbell

Now on Monday we find out he didn't sign a LOI. I'd say he's gone.

His status says he's going to Windsor tonight. Windsor held his contract rights. FUCK. JMFC is gone.

Wow, that blows on two fronts. Had anyone heard anything about Czarnik leaving?

I am completely shocked. Campbell had sounded completely on board for Michigan and very excited. I wonder what changed his mind.

AAARRGGGHHH.
This is the kind of committment we can expect from these players?
Jack Campbell: "I can't wait to bring a National Championship to Michigan."
I am incredibly angry right now.

He should've just said "I can't wait to go after the money" instead. Not only was Campbell the top goaltending prospect in his class, there's no way we find someone remotely competent to replace him next year, and 2011's pickings are probably somewhat slim.
*Insert long string of expletives over this bullshit*
