Henderson probably not visiting Michigan
According to ESPN, he doesn't look like he will making an official visit to Ann Arbor:

I know that it was a long shot with this guy, but it makes it a little bit worse to find out that he is considering Notre Dame and OSU.

Never really looked like he would end up signing with us, but it is still a big loss not to at least get him on campus. Any time you get a kid on campus you have a shot. He wasnt really a must-get and we've brought in good tackle prospects in the previous classes so its not that big of a loss, even though hes the #1 overall prospect. Having said that, it still would have been awesome to get him.

On a positive note I'll be visiting Michigan for the first two home games.
go blue.

have any eligibility left?

Not taking an official does not always mean the player is not interested.

Your right, it doesnt, but the only shot we had at Henderson was if he visited. Now that thats not going to happen, we are most likely out of the running.

He loved it... It was his first visit after Minnesota.. He paid for it out of his own money.
"Henderson leaves Michigan visit impressed" is from an article by rivals (searched for on google by using "seantrel henderson michigan visit").
So I don't see how it's over just because we're not an official visit especially when he said he'll probably still visit us.

If you can find a top 5 recruit that never OVed to the school he gave an LOI to I will give you a plus one every time I see you post.

Cuz if we're going to restrict it might as well make it #1 overall. And I'll start looking although I have no idea how to look up their visit schedules.

wow, shocked would be the right word for it :) Heres to your continuous +1

It's not too surprising. I wouldn't have been surprised if Cullen didn't take an official here and just went to WVU and one other place. I would have figured he was 99% sure he wanted to come here, but just took the two to make sure and just get the college recruiting experience.

I'm pretty sure that a lot of these "good ole boys from the boonies love to take officials to cool places and then commit to the home school"
Case in point: (well I figured it out... that was easier than what the html thing said...)

True but after that visit I was sure that we were in line for an official, but couple weeks later it seemed to wear off and he seemed to be less intrested in M.

ESPN says that he is only considering the 5 official visit schools yet he is taking an unofficial to Minnesota (who has been presumed to be the favorite). I thought that he was still going to be taking an unofficial to Michigan but he wanted to take Official visits to farther off places (such as Florida, USC, OSU, etc (although ND is closer than Michigan)).

I'd plus one you but you don't need it. So pretend +1

OMG I clicked on this thread just to post "Where is bouje when I need him to cheer me up?" Nice to see you. Also, I agree with what you wrote, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, although it certainly isn't good either. Edit: I would also give you +1, but I think giving you more points would make Brian look bad.

This was posted a while ago. He will still visit unofficially for a game.

Well after finding this wonderful link:
http://www.thedailygopher.com/2009/8/17/992134/the-seantrel-henderson-s…
Hopefully this makes you guys feel better about this.. Stop freaking out.
Edit: Looking at who he is visiting and who they are playing against it looks like USC might be the team to beat since he is visiting them/a team they play 3 times (granted it is the best game that each of those play at home). Looking at the matrix at the bottom of the page looks like he could come to IU, PSU, PU, or OSU (not sure why it's crossed off on the matrix).

I really think that we don't have a shot with this guy, it would have been awesome to get him but it looks like thats not going to happen.

Henderson is treating the MSM like a fuck lion.
