Hello: Leah Crockett (sb)

Since the Board is a little slow today, I thought I would finish the Hello: posts for the remaining 2 recruits that signed their NLOI last month.

Leah Crockett HAILS from Rochester, New York's Penfiled High School.  She is a right-handed pitcher.  She also has a fairly good bat as well.  She was named All-State in New York twice, picking up third and fourth team honors thus far in her career. She has many local awards too.

Her Travel Teams have done very well with her in the circle. In 2013 her New Era Diamond Girls team captured the Triple Crown 16U Silver crown; in 2012 the same squad took the 14U Pony national title.

Last season for Penfield she showed dominance in the circle and at the plate. She tossed 71 strikeouts in 52 innings while compiling an ERA of 1.88 and a WHIP of 1.30. At the dish she batted .461 in 77 at-bats and slugged .792.
