People forget just how difficult it is to be a D1 athlete at all. Let alone to have multiple offers from P5 schools. Just because 'Bama isn't on the list doesn't mean it's not impressive.
Recruiting seems to bother you way too much.

Louisville has been better than UM the past half decade - and their defense substantially better. Maybe that's all due to Strong but even last year they had a very good defense. Let's not be so arrogant. We are not different than Miami at this point. So I'd say UM offer is right up there with Miami and Louisville intoday's football esp for a 16-17 year old. For those of us in the age group of 30s-40s I guess you can look down your nose at it but its a new era.

Funny how Michigan twitter went from lamenting the Battle situation to cheering on this within a minute or so, but such is social media and the fortunes of recruiting in Division I anything for the most part. Do we continue the trend of having multiple Devins on teams? We shall see, I guess.

What's the current status of the number of scholarships? By my count, with the current class it is over by 3 scholarship unless some underclassmen delcare at the end if the season.
This helped me: 14 + 5th years + plus attrition = ~25
"#FAB25" means the coaches are telling kids 25 recruits this cycle.
