Is accumulation of points here a noteworthy achievement? I will be completely candid and state my sole reason for visiting this site is that I think it contains, possibly the largest and, imo, the most up-to date collection of UM fb related news available on the net.

I believe I found this site approximately 6 years ago, but depending on what I am doing and where I am located, there have been many lengthy periods where I haven't visited at all. I find it very useful during the winter months when in Mexico due to aforementioned reasons. Obviously, I am not going to be surrounded by a large number of Michigan fans while in Latin America.

The point system I have never found important, and when I first created an account my initial reaction was the site is made up of a majority of fans who place much greater importance on things that mean very little to me, such as the structural design of presentation over the content of same. Simply, by my nature, I have always been more interested in the amount and credibility of any information I take in and do not place much importance on the manner in which it is delivered.

Obviously, comprehension of the language, coupled with the ability to communicate same as effectively as possible requires a basic understanding of writing, together with timely and correct useage of punctuation. But I did not understand why so many posters whose sole intent was to share and gather information, the two things I will always consider the most important elements in any exchange of information, were negged - think that is the proper term here - for presenting their information in a format that many members found unacceptable. Many of these posts, although possibly devoid of absolutely correct use of the language, I had no problems understaning, therefore, perfectly acceptable to me.

I will admit it did not take long to realize the majority of the members here possess an intelligence level obviously superior to that of the average fan, and a large number of the posters here deliver their messages in a manner that, in many instances, reflect outstanding writing ability. Because, as stated, I've always placed greater value in content over emphasis on quality of presentation, I realized quickly it was not a view shared by the majority. Initially offended by some of the responses, I, true to my nature, shared my views if I thought I was adding something to the site, minus any concern over how it would be accepted. Having been raised in a manner where any hint of being pretentious was unacceptable, I came to a decision that I would share that which I found interesting and hopefully not already presented and discussed as my only concerns.

Because, as stated above, I think the members of this site share common traits, among them an intelligence level second to none in regard to UM sports news, coupled with superior communication skills, I am aware when I visit here that I will almost always leave having satisfied my only reason for visiting, an up-to-date awareness of current events relative to subject matter.

With that said, I understand, due to priorities shared by more than a few, I might be guilty of sharing my information in a manner below your standards, but I do want you all to know that I appreciate the contributions of the site members here and consider this site as probably the most informative and reliable souce of UM related news that I have found. And forgive me if my interest in visiting here are at odds with the majority. I can promise I will never post with the intention of causing controversy. Thank you.

I cannot deny your conclusion lacks credibility. Was not an intentional action on my part. You were spot on with the tequlia consumption. However, I must admit I have some strange reactions to the herb. What forty years ago simply resulted in a reaction probably still common with the majority results in something completely different now..Even with that realization, I will occasionally make another attempt to see if I get different results. I would have been far better off if I had, indeed, complemented the tequila with some sinus medication. Hell, one night merely splitting a muffin made me so damn smart that even though transportation was available, I thought I could navigate the distance between the party and the bar at a much faster pace than the others. Approximately two hours after they had been seated comfortably at the bar I walked in, certain of one thing only.  if I had simply hopped in one of the cars, I would have spared myself an uneccesary two hour walk through this small village. Must admit, pretty damn impressive deduction on your part.

in my younger years i spent many a night down in the baja, in tiny little places where we were the only gueros for miles around.   lots and lots to like about that lifestyle.

This message board is nearing the tipping point where more than half the posts are board-Nazi complaints. Are we collectively antagonistic as a fanbase or does public internet forum tidiness truly merit this level of attention?

I just googled DJ Khaled and now know who he is and who he is not.  All this did, though, is leave me thoroughly confused why Coach would send this person a public message.

What does this even mean?

Damn, I spend all this time on MGoBlog reading all these threads on the front page and the board . . . and I still have no clue what this means.

How could I not know what this means?  Was this covered the day I skipped MGoBlog school?
