Harbaugh says no to NFL

and are intellectually disabled as a result?

That was as funny a put-down as you’ve ever scribed.

This list is laughable. Yeah Belichick is leaving the Pats to come to UM... if not we’ll go to Plan B with Urban.
How many of those could be hired?
Chryst?
Gundy?
And both of those are arguable if they’re better than Harbaugh.
January 1st, 2018 at 10:57 PM ^
Jimbo Fisher.
Beat Harbaugh head to head and has won a national championship recently. Great ties to florida recruiting.

He just left FSU due to not liking it there, walking in here would not be ideal. Just look at this place right now.
And besides, he wouldn’t leave A&M and has a massive buy out.
January 1st, 2018 at 6:18 PM ^
He's the right man for the job. I like many, think Drevno needs to go. Man I hope Patterson answers our problems at QB.
January 1st, 2018 at 7:20 PM ^
You are delusional if you think a QB changes this team to anything better than 9-3.
January 1st, 2018 at 8:10 PM ^
How many games were lost to QB play? The answer? Yes. Every single game is changed if you swap Shea Patterson instead of Speight/O’Korn/Peters... they’d be at worst 10-2... if you flip Peters in over Speight/O’Korn for all 13, you’d probably be looking at 9-3 to 11-2
January 1st, 2018 at 9:46 PM ^
this is incredibly false. my god man.
January 1st, 2018 at 10:16 PM ^
You new to football?
January 1st, 2018 at 10:26 PM ^
Speight is Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, so it depends which one you are talking about. Early 2016 Speight and maybe we get 10 wins.
January 2nd, 2018 at 10:49 AM ^
I simply feel sorry for you. The rest has been handled by the other comments.
January 1st, 2018 at 10:54 PM ^
will do wonders, the running game will drastically improve against the better Ds who know we are 1-D without a QB. Next year schedule is tough but I think at ND, at MSU, PSU and WI are all toss up games. OSU will probably be too tough to beat on the road. So we may end up 9-3 but the offense will improve.
January 1st, 2018 at 6:23 PM ^
Despite what many keyboard warriors want you to believe, he’s not here to be mediocre. He’s not infallible but that doesn’t mean he can’t reevaluate and make the right changes when needed.
January 1st, 2018 at 6:29 PM ^
That Jim should not go out of his way to start spats with other coaches, teams or fan bases for awhile. Only works when you are coming from a position of strength. If someone takes a shot at him, then maybe he can respond. Or maybe he should eat it for now until the situation improves.
January 1st, 2018 at 7:48 PM ^
When has he initiated a
“Spat”?
January 1st, 2018 at 7:30 PM ^
That’s a relief.
January 1st, 2018 at 7:05 PM ^
But on a positive note, there's still plenty of time for him to change his mind.
It's also in his best interest. The luster is already starting to fade and after next year -- barring a miracle -- his NFL window will be virtually closed.
January 1st, 2018 at 7:28 PM ^
2018 should be stellar. I’m calling for a playoff birth. Year 4 is the magic year.
January 1st, 2018 at 8:55 PM ^
as in having a baby playoff?

NFL - "Do you know how to pick up a first down?"
January 1st, 2018 at 8:26 PM ^
I mean Meyer does maybe they will take him...oh wait never mind.
January 1st, 2018 at 8:50 PM ^
You’ll all be very happy to know that I have also ruled out an NFL coaching position for next reason.
January 1st, 2018 at 10:02 PM ^
Have much better options right now than Jim Harbaugh. Strange season. Jim seemed out of character. Little emotion. Never thought I’d see our punk ass kicker get in his face and him cover for the kid (Maryland game). Nordin acts like an entitled brat, motioning a crotch grab at SC sideline before half. Really? Character red flags from his recruitment days...Mr. Hollywood with his private jet. DB. So many concerns on lack of discipline with this team. Where’s the hard ass coach?
January 1st, 2018 at 10:06 PM ^
Is right on. I don’t know. Someone needs to have a heart to heart with Jim this offseason; hopefully Jack knows kicks him in the ass. This season was odd, a different demeanor that is for sure.
January 1st, 2018 at 10:19 PM ^
was our best player today.
January 1st, 2018 at 10:37 PM ^
Not our best player. Why because he made his kicks? Yippee. Shows poor analysis. Plenty of defensive guys to call our best player today...Hurst, Winovich, Hudson. NOT the kicker.
January 1st, 2018 at 11:00 PM ^
He was our best offensive player?
He certainly was out most fired up offensive player...
January 1st, 2018 at 10:05 PM ^
Did anyone expect H would say he is considering NFL?
One doesn't announce such a thing until offered and accepting a position.
January 1st, 2018 at 10:07 PM ^
Who do I send my resume to?
January 1st, 2018 at 10:23 PM ^
I don't think these doomsday statements about the program hold much weight. Look what Speight did just last season. We aren't that far off. It doesn't help we are in the strongest division in the ncaa, but a few good breaks and this whole season is different.
You don't blow things up at this point when the Harbaugh recruits are just maturing. And the defense isn't without its own blame. McCray on running backs, and insert safety''s name here on fast wide outs has been a huge issue. But this team isn't like watching year 3 of Brady Hoke's team. If we wanted innovative offense, and offensive defense we should have kept Rich Rod.
January 1st, 2018 at 11:06 PM ^
No you are right this wasnt year 3 of hoke. It was year 2 of hoke. Next year is year 3 of hoke when we limp to a 7-5 record with losses @nd, @msu, @osu, and lose two or more of the following; psu, wisconsin, nebraska+frost, @northwestern.
January 1st, 2018 at 11:06 PM ^
I don't see any game on there we can't win. But I am probably just a homer.
