Harbaugh rumor...

My parents live about 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor, and I just talked to them. Apparently one of their friends is a Real Estate agent that has very recently been showing some extremely high end houses to a "Mrs. Harbaugh."  I am still not going to be convinced until it's a done deal, but the stars seem to be aligning at this point... (crosses fingers and prays...)

if/when they do buy a house here, they will likely do it through a shell corporation.  Purchasing it in their own names makes their deed, mortgage, and address, a publically available record.

Not that I'm lending credence to the rumor, but this doesn't mean anything.  He said one of their family friends is showing a house to a Mrs. Harbaugh.  They may very well put the house in the name of a shell corporation for the reasons you state, but that doesn't mean she would introduce herself as "Mrs. Shell Corp. X" when meeting a realtor.

So even if not a troll (and I assume not since 2009) you accomplished their mission.

A friend of my that works at Zingerman's also told me that a part of the "done deal" is that ZIngerman's Deli would name a sandwich after him. He would get full control of what bread, meats, and condiments would go on it. Anyone care to speculate what a HARBAUGH sandwich would contain?

The "house searching" rumor.  It's about time you showed up!

Wasn't Gruden looking for houses in AA during the last M coaching search?  Also, I live in PA and when Penn St was replacing Paterno, I had someone at my office swear they were getting Urban because he knew someone who was showing houses to Mrs. Meyer.  True story.

Funny how this board is shooting down this rumor but just freaked out because the 49ers replaced a lectern with a table at a press conference Harbaugh wasn't even speaking at.
