Well played
Canada sucks.
They certainly do in Windsor.
Is that I have but one upvote to give for my country.
'Murica
Toronto sucks. I go for work pretty often, it's intensely boring. Ottawa SUCKS, it truly doesn't have anything to offer as a city. Montreal is great as is Vancouver and the wilderness in BC/Alberta. All in all, happy to be born in the land of the free.
Currently in the process of getting my Canadian wife a green card. Traveling to Toronto every weekend to be with her, that city knows how to party.
Hope that's out well NDSU quickly!
Old time hockey. Let's go boys.
My Dad was born and raised in Canada, and from him I have gained (among a great many things) Canadian citizenship and a lifelong love of the country. I'm an American, but Canada is still a part of me.
A beautiful and wonderful nation. Sometimes self-conscious, sometimes too keen on being different from its brother to the South, yet strong and steadfast and good. She sacrificed her children in World War I before the United States ever set foot on the continent, and she fought along side us at Normandy.
I'm glad I can enjoy a small part of this. Happy birthday, Canada.
US born dual-citizen to a proud Canadian father. Love the US, but love Canada as well, and travel there as often as possible. The True North Strong and Free.
All of Canada belongs to the US!
to that guy?
fry cook on Venus
Let's go to the mall and build sandcastles in the sand! Eh!?
+1 (on mobile) for the How I Met Your Mother reference.
a great and rousing song. kind of like ND's fight song which you have to (grudgingly) admit is a very good #2 to the victors.
beautiful country, a lot larger than most of us realize. and man, do they like their hockey players.
La Marseillaise and the Soviet, er, Russian anthem are #1 and #2, respectively. O Canada is a strong 3rd though.
Wrong.
I cry when I hear O Canada, and I've only been there three times.
To the north!
I'm 1/4 Canadian (on my father's side).
Same here. Dad's mom was Canadian.
Canadian, like American, is strictly a nationality.
Happy Canada Day. Thanks for Gordon Downie.
...did I do that right?
Happy Canada day to our northern buddies.
...also, we'd like to return your Bieber...all-in-all you folks are pretty nice, and we all enjoy your deference toward the long pronunciation of vowels, but we would consider it a neighborly act of you kind people to take that little prick of a Canadian anomaly back and give him a good spanking (or donate his organs early, whatever), and we can all consider it water over the dam, eh?
in Pointe Edward just north of the Blue Water Bridge on Canada Day about 20 years ago. Quite a collection of Canadian bands (The Headstones absolutely rocked).
Copious amounts of Canadian beer and a lot of reefer floating around. Pretty classic Midwestern party experience with people staggering all over the place. Beautiful night on the river with some great music!
aren't GGD from Buffalo?
replace them with Bare Naked Ladies. I saw GGD over there a different time.
Well, Blue Oyster Cult is also not a Canadian band.
three chords and the truth!
Hope everyone has a great time and celebrates our 150th!
if I still call it Dominion Day? Proud to be the son of a Canadian.
Tom Brokaw explains the similarities and differences between Canadians and Americans. It's a great piece.
A little late, but hopefully all of our MGoCanadians hada most excellent Canada Day. I did indeed have a beer or four for our friends north of the border after I returned from the Willow Metropark Fireworks. I still have plenty of beer left actually, if anyone is interested in taking Canada Day deep into Sunday as well.
Beauty, eh? Take off!
Had a great time on PEI on Canada Day about ten years ago, and then we raised hell on July 4, with Canadians standing with us strong all day. I'm sorry I puked on that golf course, Canada.
A vast, peaceful, sporting nation covering our entire northern border? Yes please.
They actually bomb shit and go to war as much as anyone else these days.

...that's a bit of a stretch. But, point taken.
and a Canadian owns the longest confirmed sniper kill in military history, eh
Canada's military is shrinking.
And I would say that bombing ISIS and terrorists is a damn fine thing to do.
Canada has, like, 4400 troops covering the entire country. They must be the most badass soldiers in the world.
