"Greg Schiano was driving but was not injured Thursday morning when his car struck a bicyclist near Ohio State's practice facility, a school spokesman said."

Oh, thank goodness. I know everyone was worried about what that bicyclist might have done to their playoff chances.

Meanwhile: "The 26-year-old bicyclist was in stable condition after being hospitalized for a head injury, according to the Dispatch."

Rick burns has an incredible documentary series "new york" which touches on the automobile changing cities, mostly for the worse. The internet, the car, and overcrowded bars, 3 places normally decent people have no problem turning into raging assholes.

Plenty of blame to share between inattentive and/or aggressive cyclists and car drivers.  Everybody be good.  I drove a tank on the autobahns in Germany in the 1980's - you didn't see me trying to knock anyone off the road - and a few 120 mph Porsches tested me.

The M Cycling Club gets it - they tell their members that anyone seen going against the rules of the road in a Michigan jersey hurts the school's reputation in particular and that of cyclists in general.
