Great news for Michigan football fans
In an intentionally vague post, I would like to call out something that is great news for all of us passionate, die-hard Michigan football fans:
Unless I'm mistaken....
TODAY (I meant Wednesday) IS THE 20th BIRTHDAY OF DENARD ROBINSON.
I'd bring the big guy a huge cake if I could catch him. A Heisman-shaped cake.
EDIT: Ugggh, crap, I screwed this up. Wednesday is the day.
Thus begins my 3-day celebration of the 20th birthday of Mr. Shoelace, Denard Robinson.
2nd EDIT: Some of you got all bent about my particular term of endearment, so I changed it for your velvet ears.

Michigan's website has his birthday listed as September 22 - so, while I am sure Denard will be happy to accept your congrats, it is a bit premature.
Personal ... Denard Xavier Robinson was born September 22, 1990 ... enrolled in the School of Kinesiology.

Crap man, I thought you actually had some good news to kick off the work week. As soon as I saw the headline, I thought to myself "Yes! Someone must have committed or the NCAA came back and said our self-imposed sanctions were enough or I was just dreaming that we almost lost to another FCS team or Obama just stepped down and Denard is now POTUS or the BTN made a mistake in their icons countdown and Charles is actually the #2 icon (behind only Bo Schembechler, of course)."
But I guess Denard's birthday coming up is good enough for now.
