Grant Newsome news and its good

Submitted by theguy49503 on

Just read Grants surgery was a success and he will play again. Not sure how long the road to full recovery will be but it sounds like things went really well.

This is good news. With all of the seniors graduating and Cole looking like an early round pick, should he leave, Newsome will be important in anchoring and leading that line. From what we've seen and his character, I'm sure he's up to the task.

how these kids can come back from this.  His knee went backwards the other way.  I thought it was going to be a career ender.  Very glad for him that he looks to make it back. Is it assumed that left tackle is his final place on line, or was there an assumption he might switch over to right tackle? Glad he proved reports wrong this year and held onto spot and graded out well.

about the actual injury? I have had major recontructive knee surgery and was wondering what actually happened? I had the acl/pcl/mcl repaired. Just curious because I kinda know what they're going through. Tough road ahead but doable. Good luck kid.

Great news.  Newsome had started to play very well and the entire line was Jellin' together when the injury happened.  At that point in the game they were starting to dominate Wisconsin's D Line.

Newsome has NFL level talent.  Hopefully he can make it back and get to the league and get paid.
