grant me one feelings post

Today, a good man beat a bad man.  That doesn't happen much anymore.  Even more importantly, a clean program beat a dirty program.  That happens even less.  I have doubted that it was even possible to compete with dirty coaches and programs in this day and age, let alone win.  Everyone needs to remember today for a long time.  It is a big deal!  GO BLUE!

It's a fact.  Beyond mere NCAA rules stuff, Pitino has done some messed up things, and not really shown much public contrition that I've ever heard of.  Meanwhile, if there's a good man in college sports anywhere, it's John Beilein.  Great to see the outcome turn out the right way.

Pitino ruined the Celtics so I have no sympathy for him even without factoring in the game that must not be named. I hate the guy. There aren't enough R-Rated expletives to describe him.

EDIT: I guess I should add that I'm a Celtics fan, being from Boston.

Two pictures I'll always have when I think of coach Beilein. The shot of him sitting through the entire draft just in case Morgan got drafted and today' super soaker joy. Awesome, awesome stuff.

Doesn't prevail.  But I FEEL the same way as you OP.  Makes these moments that much sweeter.  This TEAM will be remembered for a long time.  Not by how many NBA ready players or superstars (though Mo and DJ are on their way) we have but by how incredibly complimentary they are.  Whenever someone struggles, there are two or three guys to pick em up!

The one time feeling BLUE makes me happy!!  Can't wait for the next round.  Win or lose, this TEAM has truly lifted the University of Michigan another notch!

GO BLUE!!
