I went to undergrad at M and grad school at Cornell. So I'm torn whether to be mad GQ called Cornell douchey, or because they took a jab at Michigan.
Also, saying Cornell isn't Ivy League is like saying Middle Tennessee State University is not Sun Belt.
Lastly, Yost > Lynah.
This list loses all credibility without Duke being on it. It's now clear what the m.o. is of the GQ editors: they pretty much cycle through presitigious schools arbitrarily, without any honest attempt to determine true instrinsic douchiness.
The editors for GQ probably went to all the really douchey schools, which makes it impossible for their writers to cover the true douchineness of colleges objectively.
This is correct. The GQ editors calling other schools douchey is like Ohio State fans calling Auburn cheaters. They're all douches.
I was disappointed that Duke was not on the list. A friend of mine did his grad work at Duke, and really, how many hours does it take to describe the body of work of Kyrie Irving? Maybe 0.01 hours?

Duke is certainly a top-five douche school. U CAL Berkeley is also a major omission. Any place where you have douches living in trees for 8 months is pretty douchey. Notre Dame is full of douchebags and so, I hear, is U Texas.
Ohio State and Michigan State didn't make it because they were already on the Stupidest Colleges list.
I'm actually surprised Michigan wasn't on that list. Even though I went there, and I loved it, and I'm not a douche, and we're superior to everyone.

I for one appreciate their living in trees due to their lack of douching and soap. A real win-win for the environment etc.

Personally I find Harvard ten times more insufferable than Yale.
The few Maxim writers they hired several years ago and more explicit (though laughably Lolita-obsessed) photo shoots haven't changed that. Pot-kettle-call douchey
but I cancelled years ago, now. The cover was so full of Clooney, John Meyer, Shia LeBouf types that I thought they were a douche-supremesist magazine. I also got tired of the stupid things being full of mens underwear ads, and skinny jeans. Definitely a womens mag, or (by their standard) widely circulated at Yale.
Wouldn't read GQ if you payed me. I think Maxim has been slipping off lately as well, I had a subscription to them for a solid seven years and cancelled it last year. Generally I don't care to read any magazines anymore, but I still look at Playboy whenever it comes. If Maxim hadn't gotten rid of their "How To" section, it would stil be worth buying, IMO.

Spot on with Cornell, the senior design project for SU is in tandem with Cornell and what a bunch of wastes of space. Yeah, I have no respect for Cornell.
I've yet to meet someone that went to Duke that isn't a complete and total douchebag. Once sublet a place to a guy that went there, what a dumbass decision on my part.
Harvard takes the cake though. Everyone i've met from there is utterly useless and completely lack any sense of self-awareness.
