Good Article about T. Brady in the LA Times

Sent to me via link from a long-time friend who lives out west (a PSU grad, but a great one), I am attaching an article about the GOAT, Tom Brady.  The gist of the article is that most everybody outside of NE Patriot (and Michigan) fans who might not like Brady are going to be surprised by what a good guy he is, not some arrogant deflate-gate cheater.  A money quote here:

Just as he is closing in on goodbye, Brady, 40, has decided to say hello, revealing a side of himself that has little to do with deflating footballs or blowing up history.

He has talked like somebody's father.

"My kids are saying, 'Yeah, daddy, all my friends said go win the Super Bowl!'' he said.

He has talked liked somebody's son.

"My mom doesn't think I've ever done anything wrong. She tells me, 'Oh, no, you played great.' She's always just being a mom, always being protective of her son,'' Brady said.

He has talked about spending a couple of weeks each summer at his grandparents' farm in Browerville, a small town two hours northwest of Minneapolis.

"I remember my uncles gave me chewing tobacco for the first time when I was really young,'' Brady said. "Within five minutes I'm outside the car throwing up all over the place.''

But does it really matter how expensive someone's things are? I use an Android phone because I can't justify spending 6x more for a phone that doesn't do anything more except sport a sweet little apple logo on it. Common sense dictates that I'll never buy an iPhone

The only feature from the Karma Era of the blog that I miss is that the worst of the worst would have a Karma value of -1 or 0 and those posts were usually hidden unless you changed the default settings in your own account. It was nice to be able to skip through the trolling like that.
