How many times did he call Burke and THJ the best backcourt in the country and Burke one of his 7 best players in the country?

I feel like those two comments and Craft for best defensive player in the country is all Vitale said all night.

It was just on repeat.

More efforts on the boards and defensive end is key, finally started playing tougher right at the end, but also need to have a better go to play than Burke iso hero plays as calls coming out of time outs and at the end of halfs/game

Way to go Blue and Fuck Craft & ESPN.  What a joke that ESPN is crying over no foul being called after they spent all that time crying about what a shame it would be if golden boy Craft got called for a flagrant for hitting GRIII in the head.

ESPN has been a joke for years. I watch almost everything either muted or while listening to the radio coverage on iheart. The Monday night football coverage is awful. College football is ok if you're on the main station if on U or 2 you get hackjob announcers. Sportscenter is a comical shadow of what it once was.

The whole station sucks.

Man, that win was as ugly as I've seen in a long time, but I'll take it. This game was the definition of must win, from a conference title standpoint as well as a morale standpoint. Could absolutely not afford to lose to these guys again, and if we hadn't, I'd be very concerned about coming out flat against Wisconsin and getting blown out, as well as against MSU.

Got to hand it to Craft, the guy is an amazing defender. Contained Burke all night as he usually does.

We rarely get the calls at home, and in fact got screwed on a clock expired. We got screwed many times. What do other teams do to get the calls at home? Heads up, we need to find out. Indiana doesn't have to dribble at home. You touch Ohio in their shithole and it is a foul. Wtf?

A tough spot for a freshman, but that's the second big game in a row GR3 has faded a bit under the pressure. I wouldn't mind a lack of offense if he was playing well defensively, but it seems like people were getting by him with relative ease and when he was being posted up he allowed his man to spin to the base line far too many times. He also had a play where he missed an easy short jumper, made a great play to get the ball back, and then jumped back into the mass of humanity under the net only to have the ball barely get above his shoulders (not surprisingly) instead of kicking it out to anyone standing on the arc for either an open 3 or to set up a new play. Not why his plays stick out in my mind so much, but hopefully he uses these past two games to get better. He has all the tools needed to be great.

A phenominal job from Mitch, Tim, Burke, and the rest of the boys. What a win.

Bielien said the team needs to play tougher during one of the time outs and I think he's spot on (yes, I know the coach does not need my validation). I think we're too soft on D and not aggressive enough on O, which is why we get so few calls.
Also, damn OSU has some athletes on the front court; I'd like some of that! Will be so good to have Morgan back and I'd be interested in seeing Morgan and Horford/McGary out at same time against big teams.

Looks at the offensive rebounds they aloud and work in boxing out for 2 hours. That's was terrible. Michigan State is another long and athletic team that we will play soon, we need to be prepared for that. Plus with Nix and Dawson they are big and strong so hopefully Morgan will be back and some guys step up like some men and play big boy basketball.

I feel like we looked bad, but looking at the box score, both teams just looked really good I think.

Edit: Way too many second-chance points for OSU, and it feels like we got outrebounded like crazy.

Yeah, Ohio is pretty good and craft plays insane D when he gets us. Like even more insane than his normal "really good D." The kids going to be really good in Europe.

ohio exploited the inside game, all game; IU did the same. That may prove problematic in the NCAAs. THJ was the diference tonight, but we need a stronger inside game. Horford, Morgan and MMG have foul and rebound opportunities. We need to exploit those conjunctivively with FT shot conversion and pressure D leading to transision baskets.
