Game Thread: #25 Michigan at #3 Purdue

Carson Edwards is ridiculous right now.  There's not much else to do other than hope he cools the hell off

against Quality opponents Matthews is a flop..Hes great against the cupcakes but anybody good he just whiffs

If Purdue ever goes cold from three they’re screwed. Not sure they ever will though... until the NCAA probably.

The Edwi and Haas are killing us. Z and Teske keeping us in it. Not much we can do on D in some spots though, just like the first game they're making great shots over great D.

Crappy to end the half on another Purdue 3, but you’re only down five on the road to the #3 team in the country. Can’t ask for much more than that.

Michigan is very much in this game. Get a few breaks in the second half and they can absolutely steal this.

Jesus, Purdue is shooting 62% and 55% from 3. The 3 number is unfortunate, we've been playing good D out there but we need to find an answer for Haas down low.

If I never have to watch Carsen Edwards hit another ridiculous, off-balance, falling-away-from-the-basket three, it’ll be too soon. I mean, I guess it’s not a low-percentage shot for him if he makes them all the time? But I don’t understand how the hell he’s able to shoot it accurately without getting lined up and when his momentum is carrying him away from the basket. If Purdue is shooting 40% from 3, Michigan is up by a point.

Hopefully he will join the Seniors and leave Purdue and go pro.

Keep it close. Maybe Purdue cools off under the pressure :)

Give Ibi a few of Matthews minutes . Maybe he can atleast hit a 3

Smart guy but bizarre

Man Carsen Edwards is a baller. Not sure how much of his game translates to the NBA, but that dude could be the next Isaiah Thomas (without the hip injuries) with a better 3 point shot. 

Next year Purdue won't be very good, especially if he doesn't return. But man they are a fun team to watch this year. Hoping if Michigan doesn't win it, that Purdue can finally make a run in the tourney and win it all. 

Michigan can play with any team in this league and beat them when they are focused.

Matthews and Wagner aren't pro ready. Whether they decide to go at season's end is their choice. But if you can't handle the ball in a 30 second offensive situation and consistently get to the basket, make a shot from the elbow or hit from beyond the college arc, explain to me like I am a first grader how this gets better.

Purdue making 3's like they're layups. Can't beat that. We've been on that side before, and now we know what it's like to go against a team with basically 3 Nik Stauskas' and a Trey Burke
