Game Day Wake Up Thread
Sometimes it feels like an eternity until the season begins, but today Team 134 will take the field. This thread is dedicated to home opener morning traditions. Here is mine:
- Wake up
- Blast The Victors on whatever speakers I have available with absolutely no regard for those living with me.
- Crack first beer during The Victors
- Watch a succession of hype videos on YouTube. This must include the Better Son/Daughter video because one must remember the bad times to appreciate the good.
- Eat pancakes

Paul Finebaum just said OSU wouldn't be one of the top 5-6 teams in the SEC. I hate OSU as much as the next guy, but that is one of the more asinine comments I've seen by ESPN. That says something, given the fact that Mark May and Skip Bayless both work there.
Alabama is a great program; Georgia and LSU look to be good this year. But South Carolina nearly lost to an 8-5 UM team last year without any semblance of a running game, A&M is going to have to deal with Manziel and a tough schedule, and Florida was one of the more overrated 10+ win squads I saw last year. The SEC kool-aid is strong with ESPN, but this is getting ridiculous.

I'm planning a round of golf for Noon or so. OSU will be playing which means all the sheeple will be watching that game, and hopefully, I should be able to make it through 18 in 3 hours, giving me just enough time to get home, shower and plant my ass on the couch.

The guy texts me back 10 minutes before the meeting saying he can't make it and wants to reschedule.

Well at least it's a slow day so far at Children's Hospital. I'll be listening to the game on the radio assuming things don't get busy and then watching the game on my DVR later when I get home.

Ricardo Miller is in action for UMASS against Wisconsin. It's to see him take the field for some PT, I hope he can make some plays today.
