"Dantonio hates me for making this sign"

"this sign puts a chip on connor cook's shoulder"?

Perfect way to show off the beauty of our campus on a fall morning. Hopefully they get some shots of the Law Quad as well.

Someone make the sign, "Carmelo hated Mark D'antonio."

Melo never played for him though...

I liked when they used to have it with the stadium in the background.
Since they are done at 12:00 and it's a 3:30 game, I would have liked to see them do it with the stadium in the background. They continue to do updates throughout the day, but those could be done from anywhere.
I'm sure some tailgaters in the shadow of the stadium could give up their spots until noon. Let them have front row seats at the Game Day broadcast as compensation.

Have it out on the golf course with the stage near the pond and the back stage (fan area) up that fairway. You've got tailgates all around

Lee Corso might get eaten by the Kraken then.

So pretty much as far away from the tailgate scene as possible? Looks like I will be skipping gameday again this year.
EDIT: When I don't tailgate I usually park in the Thayer parking garage. If that was the case this time then it wouldn't be a big deal. But we have a HUGE tailgate this week that I cannot skip.

The whole thing is pretty much for the students, and if it were down near the stadium you wouldn't have nearly as many show up, especially for a 3:30 game.

Gameday is first and foremost for the students. And having it further from the stadium may keep some of the Spartan juggalos out.

although Spartan Juggalos on Game Day would be awesome!

Here's some previous locations.

I loved when the back of the scoreboard was the schedule and capacity. And it was the correct shade of blue, too.
Really, just miss the simplicity of the stadium of old...

I like the block M that it is now. Can be seen from far away and looks nice lit up at night.

The bottom one is the best in my opinion. The one of the empty stadium was the worst.
October 14th, 2015 at 1:43 PM ^
A little too far away. It looks like a Sunoco sign.
Top one is pretty good though.

Nice... I'm guessing top one is 97?

Yep. First game of the 1997 championship season. Lee Corso picked Colorado to win.

Didn't Lee always pick against us that season? Maybe not Baylor.

I am planning on making the drive for just game day and then return home for the game. Where would be the best area to park?

Where are you coming from? I come in from Livonia and I like to park in the Thayer parking garage. It makes it easy to escape up through north campus around the hospital and up to Plymouth Rd.

I will be coming from the Grand Rapids area.

around campus. Back in the day it was near the stadium not far from the media and VIP entrrance to the press box. They later moved to the Stadium side. Went across the street to the golf course one time. And since, they've moved to central campus, which is cooler, I think.
