The future of M baseball

Submitted by Wendyk5 on

My son is down in Vero Beach with his baseball team. They go every year and play teams from other parts of the country for their spring training. Yesterday, they played a team from Pennsylvania, and the pitcher they faced is a 2019 Michigan commit, Cam Weston. He was a flamethrower -- I wasn't at the game, but I was told he was throwing in the upper 80's and he's only a junior.

Pretty much any D1 pitching prospect has to throw 88-91. Unless they are a lefty or a righty with incredible stuff that throws low to mid 80s.

Nice. I clicked on this thinking it was going to be a WD-style deep diving critique of the program since we're off to kind of a rotten start. I would've downvoted such a post for poor timing (basketball!). Instead I'm upvoting you!

vs MSU. Down 1-0 in the 9th, Michigan scored 3 runs on 2 sac bunts, one with runners on 1st and 2nd, the next with runners on 2nd and 3rd. MSU only got charged with one error.
