I have faith in DB....Db has a pimp hand....DB knows what he is doing...calm down everyone, DB has a master plan and will make the right decision.

I think all this has finally put to rest the multitude of people who were stroking DB and gushing about how great he was. Maybe...just maybe...being what some would call a successful CEO of a pizza franchise doesn't mean you are cut out to be an AD.

If he doesn't make an amazing hire (which I am becoming more convinced by the minute that he won't), he needs to contact dominos and see if they need any delivery boys.

What's also discouraging is how persuasively certain recruits note M's academics as a primary attraction to the school. All recruits give the subject lip-service. But some really make a powerful case. Choosing another school over Michigan is one thing -- there are plenty of good schools. But Auburn? Auburn is a "school" only in the technical sense. Could two places be more disparate than Michigan and Auburn? It shakes your faith, I tell ya.

Six fairly realistic top recruits to make our recruting class maybe not the best but really good, when we need a really good recruiting class.  I thought we had a chance at getting all six, with hard work and some luck.

It went something like this:

  • Frost
  • Zettel
  • Bryant
  • Lyons
  • Flowers/Holloway
  • Tabb

Now, we might get skunked on all six.  Am I missing anything?  Will we get any of those guys?
