the old "work from home" day.  So essentially what you are saying is that your bagel is almost ready and then you will lay down and watch the Shawshank Redemption and House reruns until 3 while one work file sits untouched and gathering dust on a table in the next room.  Sound about right?

those of you with young kids you will understand.  I just had one of those weeks - the Murphy's law weeks - a whole week of "WTF don't throw that! Let go of his hair! Let Me get your puke bucket! No you are 7 you can't play Call of Duty! Will you help me and grab me that burp towel! Oh, where did the puke bucket go."

I need a drink and a Friday, so TGIF.

During the Hoke years I used the off season to forget about football. Now, I come to this blog daily, searching endlessly for football threads / articles. I long for a UFR.

Personal negbang to life from me. Daughter is on her 4th day of having a fever. Drs said it was vital and they could do nothing. I've missed almost an entire week of work and been a prisoner of my house and child. Sprinkle in a terrible basketball game the other night. F this week.

Lift me up Mgo members.

is well enough to leave the house, just go somewhere, anywhere.  If she is too young to really "do" anything just make a list and go to Target.  Like, do you need lightbulbs?  Bam - lightbulbs.  Your mission for the next couple of hours is lightbulbs.  I had a similar week to what you are describing and just get out among the living.  It will help.

Expanded my beer horizons this week by sampling several styles:

- Berliner Weisse (almost like a really tart lemonade)

- Oude Geuze (it's skunky because it's supposed to be)

- Rodenbach Grand Cru (Flanders red)

- Marzen Rauchbeer (smoked beer)

- and a Firestone Parabola imperial stout that was nicely aged

I found some Three Floyd's Robert the Bruce scotch style ale to sample in depth this weekend.  Beer class provides a great excuse to drink beer.

I'm so relieved that none of my students appear to have norovirus that I didn't even bother to yell at them for having entirely neglected the assigned reading.

(I don't teach at M, but reading about the recent outbreak has stoked all of my latent fears about the 75 dorm-dwelling germ vectors I interact with three times a week.)
